Sweetgrass Basket Workshop at the Charleston Museum

Learn to make a sweetgrass basket, an iconic art form of the South Carolina Lowcountry, with the Charleston Museum and traditional basket maker Sarah Edwards-Hammond.

From 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Participants will soak up the history of sweetgrass baskets and then get started sewing their own creation.

Workshop fee includes a starter and all supplies. No experience required; program is designed for adults.
