Magnolia Plantation and Garden’s executive director Tom Johnson will lead a tree identification walk at Magnolia on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The tree walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a catered supper in The Carriage House and a lecture by David Grant of Natural Directions Tree Care.
Grant has more than 20 years of experience in tree care. He will share his secrets for choosing, planting, pruning and maintaining landscape trees. Clemson Extension agents Derrick Phinney and Amy Dabbs will discuss insect and disease problems common in Lowcountry trees.
The event is sponsored by Magnolia, Clemson Extension and Natural Directions Tree Care Company.
