Summerville's Red, White, and Blue on the Green

Kick off the Independence Day celebrations with the annual Summerville tradition Red, White and Blue on the Green in Gahagan Park.

From 5:30pm to 9:30pm
There will be family fun with musical entertainment, free games, face-painting, children's activities, jump castles, food vendors, a beer garden and the ever popular patriotic newspaper hats. This is a FREE community event.

There will be the Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty costume contest at 7:30pm. The winners will help the mayor lead off the annual crowd favorite - the non-motorized parade. Decorated bicycles, trikes, strollers and wagons will parade around the park. There will be prizes for Most Patriotic, Most Original and Judges Choice. So get your red, white and blue on and join the fun!

There will be live entertainment by Zero to Never. Food vendors will be on hand with bbq, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks, italian ice, kettle corn and much more.

You may park at Heritage Square and take a free trolley shuttle to the event.
