Celebrate this Fourth of July over the blue waters of the Cooper River on the Riverside Terrace of the South Carolina Aquarium. An evening of fun for the whole family, enjoy tasty Bar-B-Q by Jim n’ Nicks, a 4-D Theater movie viewing, face painting, music and spectacular fireworks overlooking the Charleston Harbor courtesy of Patriots Point. The Fourth of July Celebration, a popular, sellout event, begins at 7 p.m. and ends after the fireworks. Limited seating is available and guests are encouraged to reserve a space early. Tickets include beer, refreshments and food. Tickets are $60 for adults, $30 for children (2 and under are free). Aquarium members enjoy special discounted pricing, $50 for adults, $25 for children (2 and under are free). Guests can bring their own chairs and blankets. No personal coolers allowed.
