Bite the summer heat with the South Carolina Aquarium and head to the first ever Shark, Rattle and Roll Party. The Aquarium is putting some motion in the ocean with a night of music, drinks and delicious bites. Guests can dance by giant tanks to the tunes of a DJ Mike Bills or groove out over the water to performances by Emily Hearn, Occasional Milkshake and Ten Toes Up. Doors open at 7 p.m. with $1 drink specials (did someone say LandShark!) and light nibbles by Smoky Oak Taproom. Tickets can be purchased online in advance for $25 and at the door for $30. Members enjoy $20 tickets. Must be 21 to attend. All proceeds will go towards the care of more than 5,000 animals in residence at the Aquarium.
