Based on the 1970’s cartoon series phenomenon, ‘SchoolHouse Rock’ is an upbeat non-stop musical, which teaches lessons through song and dance.  The story revolves around Tom who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He draws inspiration from animated characters that magically come to life from his television set and suddenly the stories of his life remind him why he became an educator in the first place.  Join Tom as he takes a trip to “Conjunction Junction” and back remembering the first rule of teaching “Learning Can Be Fun”.

With young adults filling the lead roles and aspiring school aged kids rounding out the chorus, Schoolhouse Rock Live! offers educational inspiration for all ages.  Baby boomers will have a warm deja-vu feeling with their kids and grandkids will revel for the first time with the phenom that is Schoolhouse Rock Live! 

With only 10 performances scheduled from Thursday to Sunday at the Footlight Theatre over two weekends including nightly shows at 7pm with Sat & Sun matinees at 3pm, be sure to catch Schoolhouse Rock Live!
