The Women in Defense Palmetto Chapter is pleased to announce their 5th Annual Military Woman of the Year celebration at the Salute to the Fighting Ladies cocktail event! This event is open to the public.
Join in recognizing these amazing women from the Charleston community serving our country. They will also be raising money for the WID Scholarship Program – an annual award supporting women attending South Carolina Colleges or Universities pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields.
Tickets include parking at the event, heavy hors d’ouevres, open bar, and live music. The evening will also include a Live and Silent Auction, featuring local favorite Tom Crawford, with all proceeds benefitting the WID Scholarship Program.
MWOY Nominations:
Candidates must be female and active-duty military; there is no requirement for WID membership for nominees or nominators. Complete and submit the 2014 MWOY Nomination form, located on their website, by September 15th, 2014.
