The Middleton Place Plantation Stableyards is a living outdoor museum interpreting 18th and 19th century plantation life every day.
On Nov. 16 and 17, Stableyards activities will be greatly expanded when the National Historic Landmark presents Plantation Days – a harvest-time experience where more than 20 costumed interpreters demonstrate the activities of life on a South Carolina plantation.
Programs include sugarcane processing, cooking and food preservation, brick making, spinning, tool making, hide tanning and much more.
Plantation Days and its family-friendly programs will take place from 10 a.m. to 4. Activities are free with paid admission to Middleton Place.
