A special Photography Day series is scheduled at the Center for Birds of Prey the second Sunday of each month beginning September 8. Whether you use a Point and Shoot or DSLR, you’re an amateur or professional photog—Photography Day is a chance to stretch your wings.
A variety of birds, such as Peregrine falcon, Bald eagle and Asian Brown wood owl, are strategically situated on perches and engaged in flight demonstrations to allow photographers to get the perfect shot.
The photography portion of the day takes place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and then guests have access to the grounds until 5 p.m.
Admission is $45 and tickets are limited to allow for optimum visibility by all participants.
