Performing Arts Center To Host Best Of Broadway Open House -“Select Your Seat” Party

The Open House party features Broadway music, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a wine tasting and backstage tours.

The shows for the 2010-2011 season are: Broadway’s newest smash hit musical based on the hilarious MGM film, LEGALLY BLONDE (November 2-3); winner of nine Tony Awards and the longest running American Broadway's musical ever A CHORUS LINE (November 30-December 1); the outrageous comedy musical lovingly ripped off from the film classic “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” Tony Award winner , SPAMALOT (January 11-12); the landmark musical that is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality and rock and roll and is exhilarating audiences across the county, SPRING AWAKENING (March 15-16); the smash hit Broadway musical based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (April 26-27).

The BEST OF BROADWAY will also present three special events this season. LIZA MINNELLI in Concert (September 24); TIM CONWAY & FRIENDS (October 17); and THE ALUMINUM SHOW (January 22).

From the classics, like A CHORUS LINE and Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, to the newest shows from Broadway, like SPAMALOT, LEGALLY BLONDE and SPRING AWAKENING, this is one of our best seasons ever”, said Dave Holscher, General Manager of the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

The BEST OF BROADWAY series features the best in national touring Broadway shows and is presented by the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and the Nederlander Producing Company of America.
