Please join us for a family-friendly event as we send the Pedal for Prevention team 4,000 miles on bicycles from Charleston, SC to Los Angeles, CA. Three volunteers are on a mission of prevention for Darkness to Light, a national non-profit based out of Charleston, SC whose mission is to train adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to the signs of child sexual abuse. Along the way, the Pedal Team will be blogging and tweeting to raise awareness that prevention is the answer to ending this epidemic that affects one in four girls and one in six boys. Pedal for Prevention is asking supporters to give $10 for each mile they ride. The money raised will provide scholarships for adults to take our prevention training, Stewards of Children.
