Visit the Center for Birds of Prey Saturdays in May for Painted Bunting walks at 8 a.m. Painted Buntings—known for their distinctive blue, yellow, green & red coloring—are a species in the Cardinal family.
After the walk, participants will have the opportunity to observe spring hatchlings and view a wading bird rookery with nesting ibis, egrets, herons,anhingas and woodstorks. Tickets are $20, and include all-day access to the grounds.
