Painted Buntings, Indigo Buntings, Wood Storks and Roseate Spoonbill... what do these things have in common? At certain times of the year, you can see these rare birding treats on the Center for Birds of Prey campus in Awendaw.

This two-hour walk will be led by an experienced staff member. Space is limited to 20 participants and advanced reservations are required.
After the bird walk, guests will be invited to join the regular morning bird of prey tour and flight demonstrations at no additional cost.
These highlights include:
-Guided Tour: Enjoy a walking tour of the grounds with an experienced guide.
-Flight Demonstration: Watch as hawks, falcons, owls, eagles, and vultures soar above; learn about their hunting and flying techniques.
Your visit provides operational support for the Center's educational, medical, conservation, and research initiatives. We hope that your experience here will inspire an appreciation for birds of prey and a genuine concern for the diminishing habitat upon which they—and we—depend.
