Shell Ring Trail head
Guided Walk, Sewee Shell Ring Trail. Meet Archeologist, Olga Caballero, at the Sewee Shell Ring Trailhead for a guided, interpretative forest hike to the 4000 year old shell ring that borders the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Call the Center to register for the walk. This is a beautiful walk and informative talk! FREE!

South Tibwin Nature Walk.
Meet Sewee Naturalist here at the Sewee
Visitor Center and head north to South Tibwin. Let’s see what awaits us along the forest trail and at the bird observation blind. Call the Center to register! FREE!

Cape Romain Lighthouse Tour!
The refuge celebrates our coastal heritage
with a historic tour to Lighthouse Island. Following the presentation at the Sewee Visitor Center, participants travel to the McClellanville boat landing and board the coastal Expeditions Island Cat Ferry. The ferry should be docking in McClellanville at approximately 5:00 pm. Transportation fee is

Nature hike to Nebo Ponds with Ranger Rustin! Rustin has the eagle eye for spotting animals, their tracks and sign!. He’s located a bobcat scratching post, otter tracks, and hairstreak butterflies! Call the Center to register for the hike!

We will be offering the Boy Scout Merit Badge “ Forestry”. Be prepared to discuss Requirements 3 & 4 only after our fun forest walk! Call (843) 928-3368 to reserve your spot. Cost = $5.00 per scout. Bring the
entire family; Ranger Rustin will keep them fully enthralled on a walk to the
NEBO Ponds!

Work off the turkey dinner with a visit to Sewee! We are gearing up for our
Red Wolf home-coming and the Animal Olympics’ nature and exercise trail. Squat like a mother killdeer and do the pull up like the woodpecker!
