Native American Know-how: Hands on History Workshop

October 27, 2 -3:30 p.m.

Join naturalist, Hawk Hurst, for an exciting hands-on experience, as we learn to make rope from plant fibers, identify some edible plants, and practice shooting Cherokee-style blowguns. Native American games, stories, and music will round out this fun-filled afternoon.

For over two decades Hawk has offered his nature-based, educational programs, bringing to life the wonders and wisdom found within the heart of ancient cultures.

Reservations required. $12/Museum members, $16/Non-members. Ages 5 – 12
