Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Youth Appreciation Day

Magnolia Plantation and Gardens will open its gates to organized youth groups on March 1 for Youth Appreciation Day.

Free admission to Magnolia and two special programs on American heritage and nature are being offered to youth groups affiliated with non-profit groups. Chris Smith, Magnolia’s Nature Center director, will lead an American heritage class at 10 a.m. and a nature program at 1 p.m. Both programs are open to organizations such as the Boy, Girls and Venturing scouts, service and church groups and boys and girl clubs.
