Magnolia Gardens History Fair

A “History Fair” will be held at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens to showcase more than 30 of the Lowcountry’s historic organizations, businesses and institutions.

The History Fair lineup includes four research groups that study rice cultivation, African-American family ties, history and culture and the workmanship of legendary blacksmith Philip Simmons.

Free garden admission will be offered to firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians, physicians and nurses and active duty military and immediate family. Valid identification is required.

During the History Fair, the public will have an opportunity to meet representatives of venerable organizations with proud and colorful histories.

Free to the public. 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
