Charleston heats up this May as new oil paintings featuring the urban scenes of Jeff Jamison fill the walls of Ella W. Richardson Fine Art on Broad Street. A contemporary impressionist painter, Jamison is known for his imaginative scenes of figures with bicycles gliding through city streets and well-dressed couples strolling cobblestones hand-in-hand. “Summer and the City” opens May 1 with the opportunity to meet Jamison at the opening reception.
The exhibition will be on display from May 1- May 30. The Artist Reception coincides with Gallery Row’s First Fridays on Broad Art Walk on May 1 from 5-8pm.
