At a pop-up shop opening on October 24th, from 6-9 p.m. Susan Hull Walker premieres her social good business, Ibu, to Charleston and invites Charlestonians to experience a collection of luxurious garments handmade by women artisans from around the world.
The pop-up shop will be located at 275 King Street (intersection of Wentworth and King Streets), Charleston, S.C. Following the opening, the shop will be open Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Walker says, “Ibu is a line of hand-created women’s clothing which I have designed in collaboration with global women artisans. On the islands of Indonesia, ibu means a woman of respect.”
