More timely than even its 2012 world premier at the Contemporary American Theater Festival, Gidion’s Knot probes the tightly wound conundrum of school violence, bullying, inappropriate behaviors and the many victims eviscerated in the process.
Playwright Johnna Adams adroitly transmutes this potentially galvanizing and intellectually demanding material by creating characters of intense humanity, strength and compelling vulnerability.
The Charleston Premiere performances are February 15, 16, 18, 21-23 at 7:30PM, and February 17 at 3:00PM.
