On September 14th, more than 250 severely injured veterans and caregivers from the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are expected to arrive in Charleston from across the country to once again participate in the 4th Annual, Lt. Dan Week in the South Carolina Low Country.
Coordinated by the Independence Fund, the event is designed to bring the community together in a show of support for some of the most severely injured veterans from the post 9/11 War on Terror.”
Gary Sinise and the Lt Dan Ban will be headlining the event for the fourth year in a row at the Citadel.
The all-volunteer Independence Fund was started in 2007. Run entirely by combat veterans, the fund's mission is to provide the tools, therapies and guidance that those veterans severely injured in the War on Terror that they otherwise are not receiving.
Tickets can be purchased at the website listed or at the following Charleston Area Visitor Centers: Downtown, Mt. Pleasant and North Charleston.
General Admission tickets are $20
Military personnel are half-off with valid ID
Children ages 7-16 are half-off with valid ID
Children under 6 are complimentary
