Frothy Beard Brewery Dinner

On Thursday September 11, 2014 at 7:30 pm Charleston’s home of the Beer Club, Mellow Mushroom Avondale will feature local Frothy Beard Brewery and renowned chef Brannon Florie of The Rarebit and The Granary for an exclusive farm-to-table inspired five-course meal.
The Frothy Beard Dinner menu for the evening is as follows:
1ST COURSE: Charcuterie paired with Belgian Triple Summer
Salami, mortadella, tasso coppa, smoked beef rillettes, bread and butter pickles, pickled okra, grain mustard, sourdough bread
2ND COURSE: Pickled Peach Salad paired with Seargant Sandias Watermelon Wheat
Cucumbers, beets, Sweet Bay Bibb lettuce, buttermilk blue cheese dressing, curried pecans
3RD COURSE: Local Shrimp and Clams paired with Great White Wit
Chorizo, sweet and spicy peppers, fennel, orange, grilled sourdough
4TH COURSE: Pork Cheeks paired with Maltese Falcon Brown Ale
Smoked celery root puree, Brussels sprouts, Asian pear, pork jus
5TH COURSE: Surprise Dessert paired with Mermaids Milk (Coconut Milk Stout)

Tickets are $45/person and can be purchased at www.mellowbeerdinner.com/avondale. Discounted tickets are available for 100 and 200 Mellow Mushroom Beer Club members. Space is limited to 30 guests.
