Annoying doesn’t get much better than this! Footlight opens their fourth season of LateNight @ the Footlight with the gleefully rude comedy Annoyance by Sam Bobrick. The play starts October 1 at 9:00 PM at The Footlight Players on 20 Queen Street and runs through October 10, 2009. Tickets are $10 on Thursdays and $15 on Fridays and Saturdays. To purchase tickets, call the Footlight Players Box Office at 843-722-4487 or go online to www.etix.com.

Award-winning sitcom writer Sam Bobrick (The Andy Griffith Show, Get Smart, and creator of the hit series Saved By The Bell) goes into uncensored mode for this side-splitting comedic play. Annoyance follows Ethan Steckler, a very annoying man (played by Footlight newcomer David Graham) who goes to see two therapists (Jessica Spaid and Bradley Smith, also Footlight newbies) with the hope of becoming less annoying. However, in his pursuit of mental stability he drives them both to maddening heights. A hilarious combination of annoying habits and personalities that can drive anyone crazy; it makes you think of that one person you just can’t stand!

Performances will run October 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, & 10 at 9:00 PM. All performances will be held at the Footlight Players Theatre on 20 Queen Street in downtown Charleston. Tickets are $10 on Thursdays and $15 on Fridays and Saturdays.
