The 8th Annual FollyPalooza will take place on Saturday, October 24 from 10 am – 5 pm on Center Street to raise money for local cancer patients. The family-friendly event will feature a silent auction, live entertainment by several artists, local food and art vendors, kids activities and more.

The annual fundraiser directly supports Folly Beach neighbors, who due to medical ailments, are in dire need of financial support. Founded in 2007, FollyPalooza’s mission is to primarily raise money for cancer patients, but also help those with other critical illnesses and medical issues on a case-by-case basis.

Entrance into the festival is free, with money raised through the silent auction, 50/50 raffle, date auction and carnival games. This year’s event will feature over 50 food and art vendors on Center Street and at Folly Beach County Park, as well as a local art competition at the Community Center. In addition to the local vendors, attendees will enjoy live entertainment on two stages with performances by Deadwin, Noelle Brown & The Troublemakers, The Outervention, Jazz on the Edge Allstars, Champagne with Friends, Jefferson Coker Band and more. Other activities include mechanical bull rides, carnival games, jump castles, and face painting for kids.

Wristbands are required to drink on Center Street inside the festival perimeter, and will be available to those 21+ at the Information and T-Shirt Booth for $1 each. You can also purchase tickets for the carnival games, raffle and silent auction at this location. This is a dog friendly event. Chairs and blankets welcome, no coolers or tents.
