On Thursday, November 20 Chef Nico Romo hosts Fish Restaurant’s Beaujolais Nouveau Fête on Upper King Street – complete with French musicians, a grape-stomp competition, giveaways and of course, the first toasts of Beaujolais.
Fish’s courtyard extends the lively block party ambiance with French street food: boudin & merguez sausages, pommes frites and French waffles, gaufres Lyonnaise.
Glasses of Beaujolais Nouveau will be available for $3, while revelers can toast finer Beaujolais Cru at $6 per glass, or $45 by the bottle.
Fish Restaurant’s Beaujolais Nouveau Fête begins at 5:30 pm on Thursday, November 20 at 442 King St. No reservations needed to enjoy the festivities.
