Cassandra King, author of six books including the award-winning Same Sweet Girls Guide to Life, will discuss how she became a writer, the process of creating her books, and the highs and lows of life as an author. It is a great opportunity for would-be or new authors, as well as fans of King’s work.

A native of L.A. (Lower Alabama), King currents lives in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with her husband, novelist Pat Conroy, whom she met when he wrote a blurb for her book, Making Waves.
