The Charleston Museum's new fashion exhibition, Fashion Flashback, 1920s-1960s: Five Decades of Style that Changed America will run from January 12 through June 14, 2015 in the Historic Textiles Gallery. To celebrate the launch of this exhibit, The Charleston Museum will host a Fashion Flashback Opening Reception Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm.

Please join us as we take a step back in time to celebrate decades past of Charleston fashion and culture. Adding to the theme, we encourage everyone to come dressed in vintage attire from your favorite decade! Enjoy musical "throw-backs", delicious food, cocktails, wine, beer, and more while taking a look at our newest exhibition and learning from our curators!

The exhibit, Fashion Flashback, 1920s-1960s: Five Decades of Style that Changed America, will be a journey back in time, beginning with an exploration of the clothing styles of the swinging 1920s all the way to the hip 1960s. Women's and men's clothing and accessories will be displayed, offering a light-hearted look at fifty years of fashion.
