The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League’s 36th Annual Designer Showhouse will take place at 4 South Adgers Wharf.

The thick-walled building that once served as a cotton warehouse was converted into a 4,000 square-foot home in the 1950s. Now, it has been transformed into a showcase by some of the Lowcountry’s most talented interior designers.

The public will be invited to enjoy their work from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and from 1-4 p.m. on Sundays, excluding Easter. Along with creative solutions for smaller spaces, an exclusive boutique, and designer sales, guests can enjoy lunch in the brick-walled courtyard, Café Musique, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Now in its 36th year, the League’s Designer Showhouse has been a major fundraising event for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and for student scholarships, involving scores of volunteers who serve on the planning committee, and many more who work as docents in the house, waiters and waitresses in the café, and sales people in Designer Sales and the boutique.
