City Isle of Palms Community Wellness Fair

The City of Isle of Palms and East Cooper Medical Center have partnered to provide wellness services to the City’s employees and residents living in East Cooper and the surrounding communities.

This year’s Isle of Palms Community Wellness Fair will be held on Thursday, September 26th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center and promises to be bigger and better than previous years.

Blood and Health screenings will be provided by East Cooper Medical Center to residents living on the Isle of Palms, visitors in the area and anyone living in the surrounding communities.

Blood screening will include a FREE Lipid Profile for the first 100 people to sign up. Appointments can be made by calling East Cooper Medical Center at 884.7031. Appointments are strongly encouraged but not necessary.

Flu Shots will be available at a nominal fee to anyone interested. Free Blood Pressure Checks, BMI testing and much more.

The Wellness Fair promises to be fun for all ages and will be filled with games and challenges throughout the morning. Over thirty (30) Healthcare Professionals, specialist and businesses from East Cooper and the Charleston area will be on hand for personal screenings and provide information on all aspects of health and fitness.

Admission to the fair is free.
