A “Children’s Discovery Tour” at the Nathaniel Russell House Museum, 51 Meeting Street, is offered at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. each Wednesday.
Hands-on activities allow the history of 18th and 19th century Charleston, and the Nathaniel Russell House in particular, to “come alive” for younger visitors.
The 30-45 minute tours are limited to 20 children, and registration is required.
A docent dressed in period costume will lead children through the house followed by historical games and activities in the garden.
$5 per child, $8 per adult/chaperone, please call the number listed for more details.
