Often acclaimed as the greatest of American stage comedies, You Can't Take It With You won the Pulitzer Prize in 1938 and has been delighting audiences ever since.

Alice's family is a little eccentric—Dad is making fireworks in the basement, Grandpa hasn't paid his income taxes in years, Mom is writing plays because a typewriter was delivered to her house by accident and Alice's sister has decided to become a ballerina at age 40! When Alice invites her straight-laced, banker boyfriend and his family to dinner and they arrive on the wrong night, the fireworks begin.
