Charleston Jazz Orchestra presents Latin Night: The Music of Antonio Carlos Jobim

CJO’s annual popular staple, Latin Night, is next up in the fourth show of the ensemble’s 5th Anniversary Season.

Artistic Director and Conductor, Charlton Singleton, is eager to lead the band through an evening paying tribute to one of the founders of the popular Bossa Nova movement, the formidable Brazilian songwriter, composer, arranger, singer, and pianist/guitarist,Antonio Carlos Jobim (1927-1994).

CJO’s annual treatment of its varied LATIN NIGHT has become overwhelmingly popular among an increasingly diverse and growing audience. With high-energy arrangements and that distinctive big band sound, the orchestra is sure to deliver a fiery performance that the whole family will enjoy.
