Charlestonians’ recognize lovely gardens and rich agricultural bounties as an everyday way of life. Our city has always been on the cutting edge of the latest plant and garden trends as well as being the first to have a new selection. Along with being a port city where the plants came through the Custom House, the Old Exchange, our rich climate and fertile soil, it was inevitable that Charleston become a leader in horticulture.
