Guest pianist Andrew Armstrong joins Chamber Music Charleston violinists Frances Hsieh and Nonoko Okada, violist Ben Weiss, cellist Timothy O’Malley, flutist Regina Helcher Yost and bassoonist Sandra Nikolajevs in a special encore performance of their May 22 Carnegie Hall debut program.
The concert includes Mozart’s Flute Quartet in D Major, Brahms’ Piano Quintet in f minor, selections from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess arranged for violin and piano by Jascha Heifetz and the South Carolina premier of Terry Vosbein’s Charleston Episodes for flute, bassoon and strings.
A post-concert garden reception is included in the ticket price.
