This exciting new Botany of Beer event will feature special guest presenter Julie Jenny of Scott Arboretum and Swathmore College.
She will entertain with a presentation, tasting and discussion on all aspects of beer. From the botanical components of beer (plants such as wheat and barley as well as fruits and hops) to humorous and educational anecdotes.
Attendees will enjoy tasting a selection of fresh local brews, courtesy of Holy City Brewing, paired with an eclectic menu of locally grown and prepared casual courses courtesy of CSA farm share, Compost In My Shoe, and David's Catering and Confections.
Also, fresh produce provided by GrowFood Carolina and tasty BBQ from Hello My Name Is BBQ.
