Come out and see the first ever workshop showing of Bedroom Secrets prior to the premiere up in New York as a fundraiser to support the Off-Broadway production.
Threshold Repertory Theatre is proud to announce that Bedroom Secrets, a new play by their 2014 Playwrights-in-Residence, Thomas and Judy Heath, will be heading up in August to the 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival, one of the largest multi-arts performing events in North America. At last year’s festival, the Heath’s play Perfectly Normel People won the TheaterMania Audience Favorite Award from 185 shows.
Bedroom Secrets peeks into the world of a psychotherapist and her five patients, each dealing with a different issue around sexuality. One female actor plays the therapist, while one male actor plays all the patients, including men and women. It stars Ashlie Atkinson ("Rescue Me", "The Wolf of Wall Street", Theater World Winner for "Fat Pig") as the therapist and Stephen Wallem ("Nurse Jackie" on Showtime) as all five patients.
