Avondale businesses and restaurants along with over twenty vendors will open their doors for holiday shoppers to find unique gifts, enjoy special offers and indulge in holiday festivities from 12pm to 6pm on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
Each participating business will have specials and discounts for shoppers, and many will offer cookies or signature cocktails with a portion or all of the proceeds benefiting I Heart Hungry Kids, a charity dedicated to ending hunger in the Lowcountry.
The event will feature live music, hula hoopers, a fire truck, face painting, and more, all scattered around the Avondale Point business community.
After Avondale Holiday WinterFest ends at 6p.m., the fun will continue at Voodoo Tiki Bar and Lounge for the official after-party. Voodoo will have holiday drinks specials and live music to continue the fun all night long.
