Threshold Rep welcomes back veteran writing team, Thomas and Judy Heath for our Playwrights-in-Residence program in 2015. The talented duo will act as mentors for the Young Playwrights Program, a playwriting workshop for high school students this fall.
A two night event kicks off this collaboration, April 17th and 18th with An Evening of Words and Actors - II, featuring new works by the Heaths. The evenings include the premiere of their short play Hostage Bride, a dark comedy about fairytale weddings, as well as featured work from one of our 2014 young playwrights. An audience Q&A with the writers and actors will top off the evening and provide essential feedback for the creative process.
This fundraiser for the Young Playwrights Program sold out last year. General admission tickets are available now for $25.
