BLU Restaurant & Bar at the Tides Folly Beach will host "Mercy of the Chef" on Thursday, January 23 from 5-10pm.
Diners put themselves at the mercy of Chef Jon Cropf. The four-course dinner with wine pairings is a surprising dining experience, in that there is no menu. Chef Cropf delights guests with four dishes based on what was sourced that day and is in season. The four-course dinner with pairings is $40/person.
January's Mercy of the Chef is a unique one, as one ingredient has been announced ahead of time. The Local Palate magazine has chosen a local ingredient to be featured throughout the menu: grits from Geechie Boy Mill.
