Curated by Trever Webster, The Silvered Sea invites viewers to dive into natural patterns via papercuts and hand-silvered mirrors.
Papercut artist, Lisa Abernathy, cuts delicate lines out of paper to reflect the simultaneous order and chaos that exists in natural patterns. Inspired by the diverse landscape of the Lowcountry, she explores the waves, lines and spirals that emerge, as well as the emotions they evoke.
The opening for The Silvered Sea will be held from 6 to 8:30 pm on Friday, August 30th, and the show will be on display for the rest of the weekend.
Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier serves luxury chocolates and pastries.
Admission is free. The show will be up for the weekend only.
