"Digging" the Aiken-Rhett House: Hands on Archaeology
Event Details
Become an archaeologist for a day! Museum staff will share the stories behind a trunk full of archaeological fragments. Children will have the opportunity to handle each piece as they learn about early life in Charleston and how an archaeological dig works. Children will dig for artifacts using archaeological tools, identify relics they find and make a fossil related craft.
10 a.m.-12 p.m.
$10 for children, adults are free.
