8th Annual FollyGras

Event Details

Get your beads and masks ready, because starting on Monday, February 16, Folly Beach will play host to an entire week of FollyGras festivities. This annual celebration is Folly’s take on Mardi Gras and this year, FollyGras will be comprised of a week full of activities including LundiGras, a Fat Tuesday Block Party, Ash Wednesday, Cochon deLait, and a Masquerade Ball, all leading up to the FollyGras Street Party Main Event on Saturday, February 21.

The Main Event, FollyGras Parade & Street Party

At the FollyGras Street Party on Saturday, February 21, Center Street will be closed to traffic from 11 a.m. until after 5 p.m. Visitors and guests can expect a day full of festivities including a parade, musical performances on multiple stages, local food vendors, kids’ activities and much more. In true Mardi Gras style, guests are encouraged to break out their best costumes and bring their beads.
