11th Annual Mardi Crawl

Event Details

The Lowcountry Parrot Head Club will host the 11th Annual Mardi Crawl on Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, SC on Saturday, February 21. Over the past 10 years, this annual event has fulfilled its mission to “party with a purpose,” raising more than $80,000 for local charities. This year, proceeds from the event will benefit several charities including the Alzheimer’s Association of South Carolina, Pet Helpers, the Ronald McDonald House, Hospitality Heroes, HALOS, and Toys for Tots.

Registration begins at noon at Red’s Ice House and the crawl will start at 1pm. Attendees will travel to all of the participating restaurants where they will answer a trivia question specific to that restaurant. While at each restaurant, guests can participate in interactive games while also enjoying food and drink specials and live entertainment before moving on to the next restaurant. This year, “crawlers” will enjoy performances by Charleston’s own Dave Landeo, DJ Gerry Scott, a favorite with local shaggers, Knoxville-based band Homemade Wine, and more.

Participating restaurants include Red’s Ice House, RB’s, Vickery’s, The Shelter, Shem Creek Bar & Grill, and Water’s Edge. Registration is available for $25 in advance at LCParrotHeads.org or for $30 at the event. The registration price includes an event t-shirt and commemorative koozie.
