Saul Alexander Gallery Art Exhibit

Flowers of Charleston: A Photographic Exhibit by Charles Shelton will be in the Saul Alexander Gallery during the month of April. Shelton shoots in macro anywhere from 3 cm to 1 meter back from his target to create beautiful flower portraits.

John Ellerbe is pleased to display the best and most interesting aspects of his lifetime collection of games, both new and very old. The display will include games based on books, games from the 1800's, extremely rare games, games from the earliest days of Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley, variations of existing games, and unique items never seen except by avid collectors. This exhibit will be on display throughout the Main Library.

Larry and Barbara Radin Fox of Seabrook Island will display their collection of folk art paintings by Bernice Sims of Bewton, Alabama. Ms. Sims's "Pettis Bridge" has been chosen by the United States Postal Service to be one of ten stamps in the "To Form A More Perfect Union" commemorative stamp program. This commemorative series celebrates the struggle for civil rights by African Americans. Ms Sims has always been active registering African Americans to vote.
