Historic Holiday Event at The Charleston Museum 12/02/2009 Location: The Charleston Museum Web Site: http://www.charlestonmuseum.org Deck the halls at the Charleston Museum with our annual Historic Holiday event. Children can sip on hot chocolate and taste yummy cookies as they decorate the little Heyward-Washington house in the Kidstory exhibit. On December 2 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. create ornaments and decorations to take home and to adorn the exhibit. The decorations done by the children will be on view the month of December for all to enjoy. This event is free for members and only $5 for non-members. Interactive components and wall-length murals of the Museum's Dill Sanctuary, as well as other notable Charleston scenes, captivate children and promises to spark their love of history for many years to come.
