Historic Holiday Event at The Charleston Museum

Deck the halls at the Charleston Museum with our annual Historic Holiday event. Children can sip on hot chocolate and taste yummy cookies as they decorate the little Heyward-Washington house in the Kidstory exhibit.

On December 2 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. create ornaments and decorations to take home and to adorn the exhibit. The decorations done by the children will be on view the month of December for all to enjoy. Kidstory is a hands-on, educational exhibit that teaches children of all ages the rich history of Charleston and the South Carolina Lowcountry. Interactive components and wall-length murals of the Museum's Dill Sanctuary, as well as other notable Charleston scenes, captivate children and promises to spark their love of history for many years to come.
