Legendary Bluegrass icon Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys will be the headline performers at this year's annual Southern National BBQ Championship & Bluegrass Festival, Sunday August 31st at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC.. Stanley brings with him a national reputation as one of the best banjo pickers and tenor singers in bluegrass music history. Also appearing this year will be the Nashville Bluegrass Band, who carry a pretty lofty reputation of their own. Professional and amateur barbecue teams will compete in a cook-off sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society and the chance to win cash and prizes.
