When it comes to Italian wines, there is no higher honor than to receive a Gambero Rosso “Tre Bicchieri”(three glasses) Award - an annual recognition of the best wines from Italy. High Cotton pays tribute to Tre Bicchieri winners at a wine dinner on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, part of a week-long celebration of High Cotton’s 10 year anniversary.

The special dinner will be hosted by Laura DePasquale, one of the very few female Master Sommeliers in the world.

The Tre Bicchieri evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a hors d’oeuvres reception, followed by a four-course dinner with pairings of Tre Bicchieri award-winning wines. The event offers wine aficionados an exclusive opportunity to taste and savor wines that are not available for retail purchase, and to purchase bottles if desired to have at home. Wines by the bottle will be pre-sold at the event, in limited quantities.

The menu is designed by Executive Chef Anthony Gray, with wine pairings selected by Laura DePasquale, Wine Educator of Palm Bay Imports and Patrick Emerson, Wine and Beverage Director for Maverick Southern Kitchens. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

The event costs $85.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations may be made online or by phone.
