How to make the most of your Travel Council InvestmentIt's not enough to sign the application and send in your check (although the CACVB appreciates that!). You need to work your investment with the tools Travel Council provides.
Step 1: CACVB Weekly
Read the CACVB Weekly e-mail newsletter and pay close attention to its content! The items featured in the weekly are pertinent and time sensitive.
Step 2: Network
Attend monthly CACVB Travel Council meetings. They are generally held from 4 - 6 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at various member sites in the Charleston area. Reminders are sent via postcards and email regarding date, time and location. These meetings are a terrific setting to meet and network with your fellow Travel Council Members, as well as key CACVB staff members.
Step 3: Send Us Your News
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can share your news via our various outlets: press releases, media inquiries, social media, and enews.
Step 4: Leads
It is important for members to respond to the Group Sales and Service leads in a timely manner. Both new and archived leads are available anytime through the Simpleview Extranet. Please make sure you respond with proposals as soon as you receive the email prompting you to sign into Simpleview. You will only receive leads that apply to your business or property.

We have designed this portion of the website to be used as a tool to help you grow your business. This is where you will find everything you need to know regarding upcoming meetings, special events, industry research, how to access sales & service leads, CACVB advertising media kits, members in the news, industry calendar, tradeshow schedule, images, etc. Please check this site regularly, as information is constantly updated.
Step 6: Promotional Opportunities
All Travel Council members are given the opportunity to participate in other CACVB services throughout the year.
