When are the monthly Travel Council Meetings?

Why should I attend monthly Travel Council meetings?
Travel Council meetings are highly informative and are designed to keep investors "in the loop" in tracking our destination marketing efforts. These meetings are also a terrific setting to meet and network with your fellow Travel Council Investors, as well as key CACVB staff members.
I am interested in hosting a Travel Council meeting. What are the host requirements?
- Hosts will need to have appropriate meeting space (including chairs) to accommodate 150-200 people, seated, as well as a separate location (if needed) for the reception afterwards.
- Featured speakers will need a podium with a microphone.
- 3 skirted 6-ft. tables for nametags, registration, and head table (for Executive Director & Travel Council Chairman).
- In most cases, we ask that hosts provide light hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine for the reception. Please remember that this is your opportunity to shine in front of the tourism industry!
How do I download Sales & Service Leads?
It is important for investors to review and respond to the Group Sales and Service leads each week. New leads are available for viewing each Friday afternoon on the Travel Council investor section of our web site. Remember that both new and archived leads are also available online 24-hours a day, 7-days a week in this same section. For hotels, "real-time" sales leads are sent via e-mail directly to those properties that best fit the requirements the group planner is requesting. Please make sure to respond with proposals as soon as you see or receive any lead that applies to your business or property.
