The cultural sites along Charleston’s Museum Mile have come together for the second annual Museum Mile Weekend on September 25 and 26, 2010. A single pass allows visitors complimentary admission to thirteen sites along and around Meeting Street in historic downtown Charleston. Charleston, S.C. Welcomes Southwest Airlines Southwest Airlines announced it will begin service at both Charleston and Greenville International Airports within the next twelve months. According to a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines, the local Air Service Team’s collaborative efforts presented a compelling case for bringing low-cost air service to Charleston.
